(not so) vanilla.

being the OCD type that i am, i need things to, if not match, then ‘go’ together. and because i knew i wanted to order a tan Pukifee Bonnie during the first Fairyland tan event, i needed to order another tan Pukifee so that he wasn’t the odd man out in my collection. so, after only a tiny bit of deliberation i decided to order a tan Pukifee Vanilla, even though she hadn’t really been on my wishlist.

she was an excellent choice 🙂

my Vanilla became Obelia. i first heard the name Obelia in Australian author May Gibbs’ Gumnut Babies stories (the most famous of which is Snugglepot and Cuddlepie), and it has stuck with me ever since, and i felt it was perfect for her.

Obelia started off with a pink colour scheme (all my Pukifees have predominant colours, but more on that later 🙂 ), but once my Ante departed Obelia changed to a yellow scheme.

i think yellow suits her 🙂

Ah ha! Now we both have a tan vanilla, how wonderful ia that M? She looks great in both colours. I think my next tan will wear baby blue. Hey I ordered some great QMagic shoes today, they have some great colours, you should check them out when you get a chance. 🙂

    • My next tan will likely wear mint green 🙂 I have looked at QMagic shoes and they are great! I’ve bought a tiny bag for my Pukifees from that store before and they certainly specialise in cuteness!

  2. I want to steal her away so badly you have no idea – probably a good thing that we live in different countries, haha! 🙂

Obelia is such a cute name, and I love your color choices – tan dolls just have that ability to rock any and all colors! n_n
